Product Description

Drospirenone is a synthetic progestin, a type of female hormone, often used in combination with ethinyl estradiol in oral contraceptives (birth control pills). It’s also used to treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and acne in women. Drospirenone works by preventing ovulation and also by altering the cervical mucus and uterine lining to make it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and for a fertilized egg to implant.
