Product Description

Fondaparinux sodium is a synthetic, selective Factor Xa inhibitor anticoagulant used to prevent and treat blood clots. It works by binding to antithrombin III and accelerating its inhibition of Factor Xa, a protein involved in blood clotting. It is commonly used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) after certain surgeries, especially hip or knee replacement, and can also be used to treat existing blood clots.
