Product Description

Teicoplanin is a glycopeptide antibiotic, similar in structure and function to vancomycin, used to treat various infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to D-alanyl-D-alanine residues and preventing glycopeptide polymerization, thus blocking the growth of susceptible organisms.
